- stephanieinohio - Very pleased!I purchased my Nutribullet today at Walmart for $99.00. I am trying to lose weight and hoping that I could get in a bit more good stuff into my daily routine. I have been making green smoothies for about two weeks and while they tasted great my Ninja processor just wasn't doing the job of liquifying the kale, spinach and other veggies and fruits. I will say that I still highly recommend my Ninja I love it (just not for green smoothies)!
I just opened the box and made my late afternoon smoothie with it. I added two huge handfuls of kale, water, a tiny bit of pineapple juice, some pineapple chunks, chia seeds, flax seeds (already milled), two additional scoops of green powder and one whole banana and about 5 ice cubes and it pulverized all of it! It came out smooth and delicious. I am very happy with my purchase. It does give clear instructions to not overfill and screw the lid on tightly to avoid leaks. I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this product and I made sure to purchase at a location that I could easily return it if it broke and I even purchased the additional 2-year warranty hoping that it would last me for quite some time making smoothies daily.
It does take up less space on the counter even though my Ninja processor wasn't too bad. I am hoping that it withstands daily usage and I'm hoping to get some great recipes out of the booklet that came with it. So far I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. I am keeping my fingers crossed on the leakage problem.
The large cup that came with it blended up about 24/26 ounces of smoothie and I placed it in a blender bottle for easier use since I'm working on my computer all day and the lid on my blender bottle shuts tightly just in case I should spill it. Awesome purchase!
